Compassion transforms
guilt into innocence
as it turns the farcical
into true encounters
pointing at the ineffable…
The true self is as innocent as a tree,
with its roots anchored in the earth
and its branches embracing heaven…

A scene from the old trees of Gülhane Park (Turkish: Gülhane Parki – “Rosehouse Park”; from Persian: Gulkhana – “house of flowers”) which is a historical urban park in the Eminönü district of Istanbul, Turkey, located adjacent to and on the grounds of the Topkapi Palace; the south entrance of the park sports one of the larger gates of the palace. It is the oldest -and one of the most expansive- public parks in Istanbul. The park underwent a major renovation in recent years and with concrete structures removed the park regained the natural landscape of the 1950s, revealing trees dating from the 1800s.
It somehow resembles a biological neural network… doesn’t it…? Who knows… maybe it should both represent an Ascend of Spirit to the heavens above and also the complexity and on the other hand the simplicity of a tight network of shooting neurons, which enable us to experience the Ascend huh?
@Sina: u know what I found yesterday…? look at ur comment on this post… it’s one of the 1st comments on my photoblog… it says it all… http://kaveh.ymer.org/2008/the-wise/

It seems that neurons of soil make synapses with sky or heaven as you write!
Really nice shot!

NOW I understand your last sentence. All this time I hadn’t noticed. Or I had noticed and understood but hadn’t felt. But now I can feel these words
