Jaraaghil, the village carved into the canyon walls…
Well… these series of photos which I’ll put here by the name of Jaraaghil… I mean this photo and the next 5 posts are about a Village in the foothills and canyons of Sahand Mt., near Khosroshahr town…
It’s an ancient village and residential site in one of the the valleys of the Sahand Mt. and the whole village is carved into the wall of the canyon, and some of the houses were accessed from top and had with a very unique kind of door design; their entry was built onto their top, and the entrance was vertically done to the house…
This photo shows one of the regions where the houses were nearer to ground and were accessed by climbing…

I began, but not all at once! One by one, OK?
Amazing! The pic looks like a human cranium, and somehow frightening for me! hihihi
@Dilshad: hihihiii… well… what can I say… but yeah… the sense of all the carved holes into a single and giant piece of rock… somehow resembles a cranium-like idea…
What an amazing world we live in …. if only we all knew it!!
You can see all sorts of images, faces & creatures in the rock…{ like a child viewing the clouds & seeing animals form, remember doing that} … It comes alive before your eyes. I love it …
@indiestubbs: yes exactly dear Carol Life is itself an endless amazement… and everything involved in it is a miracle of its own… thanks again for the beautiful comment… thanks…
