The sacred area of the Takht-e Soleyman which contains the Azar-goshnasb and Anahita Fire Temples, in its middle part is divided into two distinct parts by a long corridor: one on the east, and the other on the west of the main complex, i.e. that of the east is undoubtedly the most important ensemble of the area, because it lies on the main axis of the oval which passes from the north gate of the enclosure to the middle of the lake and forms the processional way. Moving from south, access to the complex is established through a long vaulted hall or portico (iwan/eiwan) situated right on the north of the lake.
Facing the lake, there is a rectangular podium 4m long and 1.50 m high with a monolithic staircase uncovered in the excavations. Stones of this podium cut with an extreme precision are of a very high quality leading to the hypothesis that it might be the Takht-e Taqdis or the legendary throne of Khosrow II, mentioned by Ferdowsi in the Shah-Nameh.

Shot of the long corridor which divides the whole of the sacred ceremony area into two parts, in east and west. I’ve heard that this corridor were known as the Corridor of Rebirth, rebirth as a symbol for spiritually being reborn and being cleansed from all the impurities, and the narrow structure of it somehow resembled the process of being born from the womb of the mother to this world…

Number ONE I rated. INCREDIBLE… First tell me that have you worked on this photo or you’ve just made a HDR out of it? Whatever,it inspires me the mystery of human’s multinatural birth, life and death.
@Sina: not much post-editing… just a few retouchings here and there… and that’s all… not any that would interfere with the photo itself… and so we can say that yes… it’s the HDR itself…
@Sina: yeah… for anyone who doesn’t know the story behind this corridor… it may seem somehow something normal… but… yeah… when I think about it too… the meaning behind it just embraces me all over…
