Break…

Searching for
paradise lost
is futile,
for it has never left you.

It is the fiction of our minds
that condemns us
to hell.

And It is the Reality of Emptiness
that Liberates us.

Break the illusion
and return to emptiness,
and Silence
will Show you
where you have always,
yet never been.

It’s a piece of a broken Pyrex dish… it’s interesting how Pyrex glass cracks into pieces without breaking apart…

Si’morgh…

I tend to see a landing Phoenix, or as said in Persian; a Si’morgh (Simorgh, Simurgh, Homa or also Huma) in this picture… do u see it too or…? 😀

Anyway… talking of Si’morgh, I think there’s no need to mention that this Mythical bird somehow has a special place in many ancient mythologies, be it Egyptian, Persian, Aryan, Indian, Greek, Nordic and…

u can find more info. on this from the links below…

This was just another photo of Play with the Light series, but here because of I think some new firewood which had just started to burn, the glow of our campfire became very bright and the flames rose high and lit the tree behind us and created the essence of this photo…

Burning Desire…

Desire is the fuel of the ego…
You will never find your true self
as long as this fire burns in you…
Even the desire to be virtuous
will corrupt you in the end.
True goodness comes from emptiness,
where thinking has stopped and
the fire has been extinguished.

Raging sparkles of the fire truly resemble the sudden outburst of desire…
…captured in a 13-sec exposure

Its again a 20-sec-exposure photo of a big half-burned half-cinder firewood moved in the air by Aida… 😉 It was actually the first try of these series… our first experience with such an idea… while Aida moved it in the air, being ventilated well… It suddenly started again to burn with a large bright flame which gave all the beauty to this photo… It burns like desire, doesn’t it?
