It’s true… a Red and Yellow mountain… unbelievable how saturated and intense the colors can be sometimes, specially when it rains and the light is good…

It’s about an hour drive from where I used to live… and this region is really untouched and totally intact… perfect to have walks and explore the area freely….

This is a panoramic view of the Sacred Fire Altar in Takht-e Soleyman where the holy fire was always kept burning…

I don’t play a lot with my photos and like them natural but this one came out to be interesting with this old photo filter… NikSoftware does wonders, I love all of their products… Did this with Niksoftware Silver Efex Pro on Adobe PS CS4… I’ll attach the original version here so that you can compare and tell your ideas about it…

The following posts are the result of my 2nd time of photography from the archeological site of Takht-e Soleymān in north-western Iran, near the town of Takab.

This is a general view of the site with the lake in the foreground and the remains and ruins of Eyvan-e Khosro and northern-remains in the background…

I’ve added a rather complete amount of information about every corner of this site before in these —> 20-Photos of previous Takht-e Soleymān photography…

It seems my progress has been acceptable since when I had first photographed them back in the last day of August of 2007…
