It’s an ancient village and residential site in one of the the valleys of the Sahand Mt. and the whole village is carved into the wall of the canyon, and some of the houses were accessed from top and had with a very unique kind of door design; their entry was built onto their top, and the entrance was vertically done to the house…

This photo shows one of the regions where the houses were nearer to ground and were accessed by climbing…

These paradoxes are in harmony in the sage, the same way nature itself seems to be a harmonious blend of paradoxes. This makes it difficult to describe the sage in conventional terms and categories. In fact, in most societies the sage’s qualities would be seen as negative, even harmful.

———

I had difficulty finding a proper name for this photo… but it somehow evoked a sense of complexity in me… something not peaceful, but just a few minutes ago I asked for help from one of my online friends, and she shared her feelings about this which was the same as mine but she was able to express them much more better than me… Thanks for the help Negar, Negar kuchulu… yeah Harmony & Paradox, thanks…

For me the down-left of the photo showed a sense of Harmony and calmness… and the rest of the photo just implied a sense of chaos and unrest…
